Juliane Bray blows all preconceptions about girls snowboarding with her cover shot at TC, and backs it all up with the Interview. Another main feature is “Progression”, looking at how freestyle riding has advanced in one decade, and including sick photos of Quentin Robbins, Andrew Crawford, Ryan Bluett (who also scores Fast Forward), Todd Richards, Dani Meier, Tim Jackways, Josh Dirksen, Billy Anderson, Deni Bevin, and Steve Ferguson. “Global Traverse” once again takes in stories from travelling Kiwis, including an epic one from Grant ‘Hutchy’ Hutchison in Canada, Johnny McCormack going from Canada to USA, Joel (Westcot) and Steve’s (Ferguson) excellent adventure – also in Canada, Japan by Trev Ponting, and Stephen Scott in France. Regular features include a great tale about the Queenstown Cavemen in “Rewind”, an alley-oop 540 by Quent in “Trick Tip”, a profile on Glen ‘Herc’ Wills in “Kiwis”. There’s also a horror story from Hutchy about his near death cliff drop in “No Limits”.
